As much as we try NOT to advertise this website, new visitors seem to find us and are interested in purchasing items from us. To cut a long story short, we do NOT want to be just another Broadcast/Cine webshop.

EBDN Ltd. is now specialised in location scouting for international filmcrews and for colorgrading features and TV series. Our clients include Netflix/HBO/Apple/Paramount+/Amazon studios.

We have a legal department that specialises in intellectual property, copyright and trademarks.

This website is no more than a shortcut to special offers, pre-orders and bundles that can be ordered by filmstudents who follow seminars or workshops with us. That does not mean new customers can not buy, but please contact us before ordering.

While we distribute all major brands and a selection of a few hundred products, since January 2022 we will focus on SONY Cinema Line products. We are specialised in a rental service of SONY Venice 2 cameras for Ireland.

They are that popular and need all our time in planning / pre-ordering and supplying that we prefer to be as good as possible in this segment only. All of our sales people are experienced camera operators that use these cameras themselves.

As for our prices, well they are lower than usual because of our policy of smaller margins and lower overhead costs.

EBDN Ltd. Ireland is operational in Education/Training and Broadcast Software and Hardware Distribution.

We are also specialised in facilitating film crews with equipment rentals and location scouting services

within the 32 counties of Ireland.

Workshops and roadshows are often organised in close cooperation with our educational partners

and professional post production facilities.

EBDN Ltd. has a long running affiliation with the EU New Media program.

Starting Q1 2022 - EBDN Ltd. will focus on building and implementing edit and colorgrading suites for studio and mobile setups. We will be implementing 4K,6K and 8K workflows, HDR compatible.

We will  concentrate on sales/rentals and service contracts for SONY, RED and ARRI cameras.

EBDN Ltd. has a divison specialised in workshops and implementation of video and audio post-production suites. Color Grading suites are built around a Bowers & Wilkins, Dolby Atmos, SONY HDR monitors and DaVinci Resolve workflow.

Dolby Atmos introduces new features and tools to improve the mix, distribution, and playback of movies. Dolby Atmos adds the flexibility and power of dynamic audio objects, and the ability to render sounds above the listeners. As a result, movie- makers can place discrete sound elements within the soundscape, irrespective of specific playback loudspeaker configura- tions. Dolby Atmos also introduces new efficiencies to the postproduction process, allowing sound mixers to efficiently capture their creative intent and then, in real time, automatically generate and monitor Dolby Surround 7.1 and 5.1 versions. Dolby Atmos simplifies distribution—the audio essence and artistic intent is all contained in a track file within the Digital Cinema Package (DCP), which can be faithfully played back in a broad range of theatre configurations.
